Primavera  handles multiple projects and can hold 100,000 activities with unlimited resources and an unlimited number of target plans.

Primavera is used by:

Planning Engineer.

Planning Manager.

Project Manager.

Steps included:

STEP - 1:

Choose the Enterprise tab, click on the OBS (Organization Breakdown Structure) window.

Click on ADD, now you can create organization breakdown structure for your company.

The head of your organization is the manager responsible for the company.

STEP - 2:

After the OBS is created, go to the Resources tab.

In resources, you can create a personal person for any kind of work or for a specific task and add this resource person as the primary responsibility in your project.

When adding resources, add resource ID, resource name, resource type (labour / non labour / material).

You can also specify the unit and price for each resource, and also add the duration (days / hours) of the work.

Once you have created the necessary resources for the project, move to WBS.

STEP - 3:

Click on the WBS tab, start adding your work structure.

I have shown in the previous post of : HOW TO CREATE EPS AND PROJECT IN PRIMAVERA? Click Here

You can change the view by clicking on the tab button (Chart view / Gantt chart / WBS table).

STEP - 4:

Click on Activities, select Laboratory Testing (WBS: Laboratory Testing), now add the activities under these laboratory tests.

Laboratory Testing:

  •  Physical properties.
  •  Water absorption.
  •  Moisture content.

Provide the activity ID and name for each test. And assign the person responsible for each test by clicking on the icon — the primary resource — add the resource person.

Likewise add activities for the remaining tests or WBS. Specify resources for all activities.

The steps that i have mentioned above are easy to access and OBS, WBS, Resources and Activities are successfully added to the project as explained above.
